How to verify a Chinese supplier: factory or reseller?

Ask for the legal company name in Chinese, registration number, production address and the party signing your order. Compare these with the contract, invoice and payment recipient. Resolve mismatches before paying; an attractive profile is not enough.

Ask which operations the company performs itself and which it outsources. Seek evidence for your specific model: production footage, an available audit or an independent inspection. A reseller can be useful for a small order; establish its role, responsibility and markup.

Check independent reviews, dates and recurring complaints. No complaints does not prove reliability. A deleted review can only be assessed if a verifiable copy is available; not all hidden reviews can be recovered. Our report should show sources, check dates and evidence gaps, without guaranteeing future delivery.
